So Monday was a better day for me personally. Trying not to stress about what is going on in my family life right now. Prayer, patience and realizing that I can't control everything or make everything better - that is what I need to do. We will get through this! Anyway, Monday turned out to be a decent day, meter wise. With Ron's help, made another slight adjustment to insulin:carb ratio for lunch time. I am hopeful that it won't be much longer til we get the bolus dose correct so that we can finalize the basal dose so that my numbers get better.
Meter/Meals Charting:
6:00 am Fasting 155
6:30 am Pre-breakfast 152 (very unusual for me to go down at this point!!)
6:30 am B- 1 slice WW toast w/.5 tsp spreadable fruit, Grilled chicken breast, coffee w/splenda and cream *172 calories (17gm carb:15.3u - .9u/g carb)*
8:30 am 2 hr PP - 134
11:30 am Pre-lunch 141
11:30 am L-2 grilled chicken breasts, 5 asparagus spears, 4 medium strawberries, 1/4 cup Walnut halves *422 calories (13gm carb:7.9u - .615u/g carb)*
1:30 pm 2 hr PP - 131

6:30 pm D-1 grilled chicken breast, 100g mushrooms, 50g onions, 1/3 cup shredded cheese, 2 wedges of small cantaloupe *(19gm carb:19u - 1.0u/g carb)*

11:20 pm bedtime 128
2:30 am 117
Totals: 874 calories, 49g carbs, 40g fat, 75g protein, 1825mg sodium
So a little low in calories, fat and protein and more carby than I'd like, but all in all decent readings.
